Book Buy Back & Returns:

HACC Bookstore Reps will be on hand to purchase back the books you wish to sell!

 

GRANT STUDENTS

All books must be returned at the end of the semester, or when they are no longer required for your program. If you decide to keep your books, your account will be charged at the average used book cost. All e-books and workbooks need not be returned.

For the upcoming Summer 2017 semester TSCT will be using the same vendor for textbooks; please carefully read the information below for obtaining your textbooks.

Textbooks will be loaned to all Stevens Grant students based on the process below:

  • Textbooks will be available for pickup in the Academic Center beginning Monday June 26, 2017. 
  • Students must have their College ID in order to pick up the books
  • Students will sign for and acknowledge the following when picking up their books
  • All books must be returned, in good condition, at the end of the semester (or at the end of their use if needed beyond one semester)
  • Books that are not returned, will be charged to the student and a penalty fee will be implemented for all non‐returned books
  • At the end of the semester a student may choose to purchase their books if they wish, at the regular purchase price based on the average value of the book.
  • All students NOT receiving the Stevens Grant in the Summer 2017 semester should carefully read the information below:
  1. Books may be purchased directly or online from the HAAC Lancaster bookstore at: http://bookstore.hacc.edu/lancaster/buy_textbooks.asp Scroll to bottom of page and under “Search by Course” click on “Select a Campus Term” and select Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology
  2. Next, find the classes you scheduled for the Summer 2017 semester. General education classes are listed under their subject (i.e. CHEM ‐ Chemistry; ENGL ‐ English; etc.
  3. Once you have chosen the appropriate department, course number, and section (for section choose "ALL"), click the green button that says "Add Course to List." Repeat the process to add additional courses. Once you have gone through all the courses you want to shop for, click the other green button on the right that says "Get Your Books." A list of all the textbooks required will come up and you can then choose which ones to add to your cart and purchase.
  4. Books can either be picked up at the HACC Lancaster Bookstore or delivered to your address
  5. If shipped, there is a shipping cost of $8.75 for the first book and $.75 for each additional book. There is no additional fee if books are picked up at the Bookstore.
  6. A credit card must be used to pay for your purchase at the time of selection online.
  7. Beginning the week of June 26, books can be picked up at the HACC Lancaster Bookstore

  9. Textbooks may be purchased from other suppliers as well.
  10. When ordering from the HACC website where multiple editions of the same book are listed, this means that the instructor has approved for several editions of the same book and you may purchase the edition you prefer.
